The ideal wedding for me would be to have my mother alive and at my wedding. My mother passed away four years ago from breast cancer, I was sixteen at the time. I have been through many of life’s changes and it has not been easy. I met the man of my dreams a year ago and plan to wed this coming June. I wish she would have had a chance to meet the man I love! Everyone will be at my wedding except my mom. So the ideal wedding for me would be my mom’s presence when I say “I do”.

We are getting married on the 26th of this month. It is just going to be my sister his buddy, and my high school princable, who is doing the ceremony. We were saving money to get married, but I had some problems with IRS, and before I could clear them up; IRS put a lean on my accounts, and cleaned out our wedding account money. So we are forced to keep it simple. There will be no reception, or anything. We don’t even have rings yet. Deep down I do want a big wedding.
So my ideal wedding would have to be located in the mendocino national forest. This is where I love to be the most. There is a point you have to hike to, that looks over the entire lake it is a wonderfull place. Or maybe I would want it to be at pinical rock. (same forest) Pinical rock is the highest point in the forest. Quite a hike to get up there but it would be worth it. I truly love the man I am going to marry so any where would be the perfect spot. I want a simple long, skin tight, camo colored dress, with my bridesmaids in something along the same lines. I would like every guest wearing something camo as well, or what ever they feel comfortable in. The vows would be short but sweet. After the ceremony, him and I would ride off into the woods on our quads. Then the reception would be at konocti harbor resort and spa. We could lauph and dance our way into the night, with all our family and friends there to share the begining of our lifes united as one. I think that sounds simple, and unique. I would like my wedding cake to be made of twinkies hohos dingdongs and moon pies stacked up in three layers. More than anything I don’t want to feel stressed, or uncomfortable about anything. And I want our guests to feel at ease, not bunched up in cloths they don’t want to wear. My biggest fear is that we will forget to invite someone and they would be upset. I don’t want to leave anyone out.

For Joanne and I the Ideal wedding would be a great getaway to someplace warm. We are both at a stage in our lives that the fancy ceremony is not in the picture. We don’t want to overshadow all the important things that are happening in our lives right now. My son is Graduating soon and Joanne’s daughter is getting married. We would just love to get away for a few days and have a wonderful time together before all the things that are coming up for us begin to happen.
A very small ceremony is what we would like. Somewhere where the sun sets over an ocean. A place where we might have Chateau Briand for our personal little banquet, then maybe head off to a small night club for a little dancing. The evening could end with me walking back to our hotel on the beach with my lovely new wife, sandles in hand, and my gal beside me. - Frank

For my ideal wedding, I would leave the ceremony up to my beautiful fiance, and as such I won’t address that aspect here. I would, however, take control of the reception. The background for my idea is that I always think it seems awkward at a wedding when the bride and groom are greeting people after the ceremony. Unless you’re family or a super-close friend of the couple, you never know whether you should hug or shake hands are if you are even allowed to touch the bride. The groom always looks uncomfortable when greeting the bride’s friends and family that he doesn’t know that well, and the bride always seems tentative when greeting the groom’s friends and family that she doesn’t know that well. At my wedding, this awkwardness would all be relieved with one ingenious (or so I like to think) idea. One thing that both my fiance and I are passionate about is meat; we love it! Chicken, steak, pork; it’s all good! As such, I think that at our reception my fiance and I should stand behind a huge grill filled with all varieties of tasty meats. Then, as the guests come through the buffet line, we would serve them whatever kind of meat they requested. As we served people, we would greet them and thank them for coming. Two birds with one stone; the people get fed and we greet each and every guest, all in one smooth motion! And hey don’t worry, we’d have some lettuce or something available for anyone choosing to abstain from meat. I didn’t even mention the fact that the people would be honored and blessed by the act of servanthood we would display by serving the guests on our own wedding day. Let’s be honest, wouldn’t you feel honored when the cute little bride slaps a huge juicy t-bone on your plate and says “thanks for coming!”? Now that’s a wedding that I’d be pleased to attend. - Dustin Musser

I think it’s finally here. A ring for men that has been made for men. I’m generalizing of course, but for the most part, males seem to scratch up their weddding rings a whole lot faster than women do. Take virtually any couple you know and look at their wedding rings and almost always, the male’s wedding ring has been beat up more than the female’s. Now there is a type of ring that solves this problem absolutely. At first I was skeptical, but after 2 years of wearing the same ring and never taking it off, I am a solid beleiver in it. The name of the metal used is Tungsten. It is almost impossible to scratch and will look as new as the day you first put it on your finger forever (at least I’m guessing, judging by how my ring looks right now.) So, if you’re a man looking to get a ring soon, do yourself a favor and get a tungsten wedding band that never scratches and the shine never fades.

Just recently, my brother called me up and asked me if I knew of any sites that would give him bands that could play for a convention of his in a different state than he resides in. I told him to go to the wedding DJ site and to look at a specific state site. You see, this information isn’t just useful for weddings, it’s useful for all areas of life. Find wedding DJ’s or DJ’s for high school proms, or any dances of any kind, right here at TheIdealWedding.com!

Finding a good wedding florist is a tough job. There are many out there and some are good and some are not. For most people it is important to find one who is very willing to work with you and get you what you want. For other people, it’s nice to find a wedding florist who will more or less take control and do everything for you . This is usually a good choice for people who find themselves getting stressed out of their minds just thinking of trying to prepare for the wedding.

My fiancee and I were looking for a good place to have a wedding reception. We wanted to have our reception somewhere elegant but unique. This meant that all of the reception centers were out. It also meant that we had to do some real looking around to find a great place. We searched and searched for a place and it took a long time. Finally we were driving around in Salt Lake City Utah and came across their old city and county building. It is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like a castle from a fairy tale. Even though we thought it was kind of odd to ask if we could rent out the city and county building for a reception, we decided to go in and do it anyway. Well, it worked out. They actually said that we could rent the place out and that we could use whatever level we wanted. While we were walking around the building we knew that there would have to be some tweaking to make it wedding reception capable, but we knew we could do it and we know that this was the perfect place. It was too.
